Fry Food
Technologies International (FFTI) was started in 1991 by
Dennis
R. Fry,
a food scientist with over 20 years of technology management
experience
with multinational food companies. Originally named Fry &
Associates, Inc., the present name was later adopted to better
describe the nature and scope of the business. Since the founding,
the company has provided Product Development, Quality
Systems Development, Food Safety/HACCP, Laboratory
Services and Project Management.
The first major
project for FFTI came soon after its founding in 1991. The company
was selected as Project Manager for starting one of the first
private food processing companies in post-communist Poland. In
addition to product development, the scope included assessment of
potential manufacturing sites, process design and equipment
selection, overseeing equipment installation, sourcing ingredients,
creating all documentation in Polish, training workers, and managing
production startup. Despite rather challenging conditions, the
production began successfully within one week of the original target
date. Upon successful completion of the project, FFTI was retained
and continued to provide management and technical services for an
additional four years
Since its
successful beginning, FFTI has developed products and initiated and
managed production for other non U.S. based companies, including a
recent successful production launch for an Asian company. In addition
to Poland, FFTI has worked on a variety of projects for companies
based in Argentina, Chile, China, Czech Republic, England, France,
Germany, Russia and Taiwan. FFTI has also provided services to most
of the major U.S. food companies, as well as many smaller food
companies.

of tools for communications, including in-house desktop
publishing, PDF document creation, CD authoring, and
digital video. These technologies also provide us with
the tools to transmit content-rich information quickly
and worldwide via the Internet.

these services on a domestic and international
basis.
